I had high hopes on Buka Home care services, but was cut short. The caregivers were seemed rushed during visits. Communication could also be improved; I had to reach out multiple times to get an update on my dad’s care plans. It’s a shame because I expected better support.

Our first signs that all is not well with our mom was 9 months ago. Following several medical check up with different health experts,our mom was diagnosed of Alzheimer’s dementia!t was shock to her as much as it was shocking to us too,this resulted in a lot of mistrust,she failed to eat any food we offered,refused any form of medication and her condition would deteriorate right in front of our eyes.

It’s with joy and soul that we are with our mom at home together with her caregivers, hopefully together this festive season! Last year, our dad passed on at a young age of 68 years. Mom is 55 years, dementia and related complications, that making it all joy and soul and more joy since all her three children are present.

My father-in-law Alzheimer condition was always unpredicable and seems intertwined with other elements, evidently we would notice he is suffering and not in peace.
Then we stabled on Buka agency, and slightly noticed some change, not being sure what, but change of some sort.
It’s my wife and our daughter who pointed it out, grandpa look peaceful and life like, even while sleeping normal!
Putting 2 and 2 together, we realized that he is receiving better care, far much better than he has ever received! This left us wondering, did poor homecare services escalate Da’s condition?

Father has being discharged from hospital in LA last October 5th,diagnosed with Type2 diabetes, part of my wife and our children support we have given Dad, mum passed away 2 years ago. I saw my father, who is 90 sarcopenia accelerate mostly due to his dementia, diagnosed 4 years ago. The risk of this condition we were informed is in falling thus risking injuries for worse.

My family most fearful and trying period is when our mom was diagnosed with dementia, at 65-year-old. We still held on and had a knack of reservation to allow the doctor to inform mom about her condition.

Our past experience with dementia was with our late grandma 4 years ago.My sister and i would help in nursing care and hep our mum in doing it.It didn’t take long that granny passed on.After some time our mum was diagnosed with some type of dementia too, as we had previous encounter we felt we would do the same as our granny.
Over period of time, it became the nursing care we give was not enough and drained our souls and physical well being.
I both agreed we have done our best, it will be best we engage professional care for mum, Buka Homecare was our choice,Its still is! mum take medication, stay with real human care.

My father-in-law Alzheimer condition was always unpredicable and seems intertwined with other elements, evidently we would notice he is suffering and not in peace.

Father has being discharged from hospital in LA last October 5th,diagnosed with Type2 diabetes, part of my wife and our children support we have given Dad, mum passed away 2 years ago. Was getting proper and professional care round the clock services. We have also learnt more from the nurses about diabetes and importance of medicine schedule following, nutrition and so on..

We visited our grandparents, who has being diabetes and cancer, glad to have found them clean relaxed and taken care of, that signs of being at peace were visible! Our past experience with dementia was with our late grandma 4 years ago.My sister and i would help in nursing care and hep our mum in doing it.It didn’t take long that granny passed on.After some time our mum was diagnosed with some type of dementia too, as we had previous encounter we felt we would do the same as our granny.
Over period of time, it became the nursing care we give was not enough and drained our souls and physical well being.
